So the hair is thinning out a little at the top, but it's still there!

Growing up in Iowa was the formative experience at the beginning of this life. Moving to the west after the Navy has been the refining time. Ending up here in Glendive had to be the least expected but has been the most blessed. Sometimes the Refiners fire can be Hot! But He is faithful and it is always for our good. (Romans 8:28) BTW I'm almost 40, married to my girlfriend of the last 18 years and enjoying our 7 children. Yes, 7!

We have seven(7) children, they are: Jaelynn(17), Carmen(15), Benjamin(11), Timothy(8), Ezekiel(6), Samuel(4) and Nathan(3). They keep us hopping with all of the school work, soccer, wrestling, NOW baseball!, working....I'm currently doing my dream job, (Don't be jealous, it's not without it's pains!!) working for the Railroad, BNSF to be precise. Always wanted to work on trains and so here I am. Karen, my better half, is working harder than I as our home administrator, school-marm, and all the other myriad things she does!

Favorite things(Just like the song on Sound of Music...)

The Bible is the Greatest (Psalms and the Gospels.) The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia are awesome. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is just so "real," and the "Fishermans Hope" series is wonderful. (Sci-Fi). Most of the classics, Moby Dick, Anna Karenina, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Crime and Punishment, the list goes on and on........

I dig old Oldsmobiles, Buicks, Wrestling, Soccer(Football), Metal music such as #1 Resurrection Band, Tourniquet, Deliverance and Mortification. Hiking and hunting deer for photos and food. And of course my Family above these all.
